The Office of Population Affairs (OPA), in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, administers the Title X family planning, Teen Pregnancy Prevention, and Embryo Adoption Awareness and Services programs. OPA advises the Secretary and the Assistant Secretary for Health on a wide range of reproductive and adolescent health topics, including teen pregnancy prevention, family planning, and sterilization, as well as other population issues.

About OPA's Grant Programs

   Title X Family Planning Program

Title X clinics have played a critical role in ensuring access to comprehensive family planning and preventive health services.

   Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program

TPP grant recipients implement new and innovative approaches to prevent teen pregnancy and promote positive health among adolescents.

   Embryo Adoption Awareness and Services (EAA) Program

EAA grant recipients raise public awareness of embryo donation and adoption and may also provide services to couples.

   OPA Research and Evaluation

OPA is expanding evidence and advancing best practices to improve adolescent health, reproductive health, and family planning.
