Project Name: Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Inc. (PPMM) Education’s Sex Ed Equity (S.E.E.) 

Project Overview: Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, Inc. (PPMM) Education will implement Sex Ed Equity (S.E.E.) Project, a critically resourced initiative designed to increase access to comprehensive sex education by considering the disparities, stigma, and access barriers for youth living within the selected settings. The S.E.E. Project will focus on the following four settings: clinics, outreach and after-school sites operated by community-based organizations (CBOs), detention centers (e.g., juvenile justice facilities), and schools, including charter and court-operated schools. The S.E.E. Project will reach about 2,035 individuals each year through a robust network of partners. Youth will be engaged throughout the project by contributing to the design, implementation, and monitoring phases.
