Program Summary

Project Name: Talk About It Texas Project (TAIT)

Project Overview: Healthy Futures of Texas (HFTX) will implement Talk About It Texas (TAIT), a multi-pronged public approach to closing gaps in access to sexual health education, increasing equitable access to healthcare, harnessing community mobilization, and driving public awareness. Grounded in the Collective Impact Model, TAIT uses health education, awareness-raising, and training and technical assistance to improve outcomes. TAIT aims to serve 2,244 youth annually in three regions with high incidence of unintended teen pregnancy: the Rio Grande Valley (including Hidalgo, Starr, Cameron and Willacy Counties); Bexar County (including San Antonio, Tx); and Dallas County.
