Project Name: Cicatelli Associates, Inc.’s HOPE Buffalo Project (HOPE Buffalo)

Project Overview: Cicatelli Associates, Inc.’s HOPE Buffalo Project (HOPE Buffalo) will implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to reduce teen pregnancy and other associated behavioral risk factors in five zip codes in Buffalo, NY. CAI will leverage community mobilizing infrastructure, youth leaders, extensive network of partners and trust built with the community to implement effective, medically accurate, age-appropriate, and culturally tailored evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs (EBPs) and strategies to reduce teen pregnancy, behavioral risk factors underlying teen pregnancy, and other associated risk factors. HOPE Buffalo will reach 2,700 youth (ages 10 to 19) annually and their parents, caregivers and other caring adults in school, community, and workforce development programs - to improve sexual and reproductive health (SRH) outcomes; promote positive youth development; and advance health equity for adolescents, their families, and communities.
