Program Summary
Project Name: Choctaw Nation Teen Pregnancy Prevention: Setting Morals and Resisting Temptations
Project Overview: The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma (CNO) will implement the Setting Morals and Resisting Temptations (SMART) Program throughout six counties in southeast Oklahoma: Atoka, Bryan, Choctaw, McCurtain, Pittsburg, and Pushmataha. The SMART Program will implement two evidence-based curricula in participating schools and community partners. The program will also hold frequent meetings with the local Community Advisory Board and Youth Leadership Council to ensure meaningful input and feedback. CNO’s SMART Program aims to reach 3,814 youth annually.
