Program Summary
Project Name: Better Family Life’s Teen Pregnancy Prevention Education (BFL)
Project Overview: Better Family Life (BFL) will implement evidence-based programs (EBPs) across approximately 25 zip codes in St. Louis, MO. BFL will partner with an implementation partner, 10 adolescent-friendly support service partners, and a performance measurement and continuous quality improvement partner to implement the teen pregnancy prevention programs and other services in a community comprised of approximately 25 zip codes serving populations with the greatest needs. The project will focus on four settings in which to serve youth at high-risk for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs): middle and high schools, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, and the justice system. BFL will primarily serve youth ages 11-19 but will allow youth up to 21 to be served.
