OPA Announces New Funding to Support Policy Research on Adolescent Health

The HHS Office of Population Affairs (OPA), in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Adolescent and School Health (CDC DASH), has awarded a new grant to Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA with a focus on adolescent health and well-being.  The purpose of this new award is to conduct and disseminate policy research aligned with the eight goals of HHS’s Take Action for Adolescents™ to understand the impact of national, state, and local policies on meeting adolescents’ needs. This award will inform efforts towards strengthening commitments to funding, delivery of services, and meaningful youth engagement. Through this project, Stanford University will receive $999,855 annually for a period of up to five years.
