The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Office of Population Affairs, is issuing supplemental funding today in the amount of $100,000 to Essential Access Health to support their ongoing provision of Title X services to residents of Maui. The recent Maui wildfires destroyed the only Title X family planning health center on the west side of Maui in Lāhainā. These funds will enable Essential Access Health to deliver family planning services in emergency shelters and two other clinics on the island.
