Program Summary
The West Virginia Department of Public Health and Human Resources' Family Planning Program (WVFPP) is a state agency that has been a Title X recipient for more than 50 years. WVFPP offers Title X services across the state through a network of subrecipient agencies. Service sites include city or county health departments, freestanding family planning clinics, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), school-based health centers, primary care associations, Planned Parenthood affiliates, and universities. As a Title X recipient, WVFPP provides a broad range of family planning services, including pregnancy prevention and birth spacing, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services, and other preconception health services. The services are voluntary, confidential, and provided regardless of ability to pay.
