Program Summary

Ramsey County Public Health Clinic 555 is a local health department that has been a Title X grant recipient since the early 1970s. It delivers services to approximately 4,000 clients through seven direct service sites encompassing the local health department, correctional facilities, a university, and a mobile medical unit. Ramsey delivers services in the East Metro area of the Twin Cities, portions of St. Croix, and Pierce counties in rural western Wisconsin. As a Title X recipient, Ramsey County Public Health Clinic 555 provides a broad range of family planning services, including pregnancy prevention and birth spacing, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services, and other preconception health services. The services are voluntary, confidential, and provided regardless of ability to pay.
