Program Summary

The Neighborhood Improvement Project, dba Medical Associates Plus (MAP), has delivered Title X services through two federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in Augusta and Waynesboro, Georgia, since 1997. Initially a subrecipient, MAP became a direct Title X grantee in 2018. In this capacity, the organization serves about 1,500 clients per year. As a Title X recipient, MAP provides a broad range of family planning services, including pregnancy prevention and birth spacing, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services, and other preconception health services. The services are voluntary, confidential, and provided regardless of ability to pay.
