Program Summary

The Family Planning Association of Maine (Maine Family Planning) is a nonprofit organization that has been a statewide Title X grant recipient since the 1970s, and currently delivers services to approximately 27,000 clients through a network of its own service sites and subrecipients who run a mix of clinic types in most counties across the state. As a Title X recipient, Maine Family Planning provides a broad range of family planning services, including pregnancy prevention and birth spacing, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services, and other preconception health services. The services are voluntary, confidential, and provided regardless of ability to pay.
