Program Summary

The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) is a state agency that has been a statewide Title X grant recipient since the 1970s. CDPHE offers Title X services through a network of subrecipient agencies and service sites across the state. Service sites include a mix of city or county health departments, hospitals, freestanding family planning clinics, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), and a community/migrant health center. As a Title X recipient, CDPHE provides a broad range of family planning services, including pregnancy prevention and birth spacing, pregnancy testing and counseling, assistance to achieve pregnancy, basic infertility services, sexually transmitted infection (STI) services, and other preconception health services. The services are voluntary, confidential, and provided regardless of ability to pay.
