Program Summary

Project Name: Caring for Youth in the Far West Valley: Developing Optimal Adolescent Health through a Systemic Approach

Project Overview: Touchstone Behavioral Health (Touchstone Health Services/THS) will provide comprehensive, multi-faceted teen pregnancy prevention programs served by two large school districts and several partner community agencies in Maricopa County, Arizona. THS will serve youth in Maricopa County (in sixteen specified zip codes), but will focus on diverse cross sections of the community through a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) in four unique settings: (1) Latino youth and their parents as Latinos; (2) youth being raised by their grandparents; (3) youth being raised in foster care who may live with relatives, foster families, or in group facilities and their caretakers; and (4) youth who are in alternative schools/charters/suspension programming. The project aims to serve at least 22,800 youth at the end of the project period.
