Project Name: Promoting Healthy Futures: A Comprehensive Approach to Advancing Equity and Reducing Teen Pregnancy in Florida
Project Overview: Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast will implement Promoting Healthy Futures: A Comprehensive Approach to Advancing Equity and Reducing Teen Pregnancy in Florida, which includes evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs focused on positive youth development, sexual health education, and empowering youth and healthcare providers to increase adolescent-friendly services. This program will be administered in school settings, community, faith-based sites, and youth shelters. The programs will be geared towards youth that identify as Black, Latinx/Hispanic, LGBTQ, youth living in foster care or are involved in the justice system, and youth with developmental needs.
