Program Summary

Project Name: Fulton County Board of Health Skills, Knowledge, and Youth Empowerment (SKYE) Program

Project Overview: Fulton County Board of Health (FCBOH) will implement the Skills, Knowledge, and Youth Empowerment (SKYE) Program for African American youth and their parents/caregivers at 61 sites across three settings in Fulton County—clinics, out-of-school programs, and schools. With guidance from the SKYE Steering Committee and regular input from youth, parents/caregivers, and the community, the SKYE Program aims to advance health equity while improving sexual and reproductive health outcomes and promoting positive youth development. The SKYE project aims to serve 4,495 youth, 1,124 parents/caregivers, and 250 youth-serving professionals annually.
