Program Summary
Project Overview: The goal of the Plan Be___ program is to see reduced rates in teen pregnancy and births, sexually transmitted infection (STIs), and disparities among racial/ethnic groups. To achieve this goal, the Plan Be___ program implements evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs for middle school-aged youth, and the most at-risk high school-aged populations. Trinity and partners will implement the appropriate programs with 6,000 youth annually in Miami-Dade County Public Schools and community-based organizations. Trinity's intervention community is comprised of 20 zip codes in Miami-Dade County. Services are delivered within the context of a trauma-informed, gender-responsive, culturally competent, family-centered program.
