Program Summary
Project Name: Changing the Landscape for Adolescent Health Equity and Access in Central Ohio
Project Overview: The Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital will implement the Changing the Landscape for Adolescent Health Equity and Access in Central Ohio project with the goal of eliminating inequities in adolescent health. The project will use Get Real, a proven effective pregnancy prevention curriculum, while expanding access to school-based and reproductive healthcare to address critical healthcare gaps in high need areas of Franklin County, Ohio. The project will enhance the impact of the interventions through supportive services including peer, parent, and summer programming. The project aims to serve 3,010 youth annually.

Target Population: middle school students (age 11-14) in Columbus City Schools district, a diverse, urban school district in Columbus, Ohio
