Program Summary

Project Name: Ntarupt the System for Optimal Adolescent Health

Project Overview: North Texas Alliance to Reduce Unintended Pregnancy in Teens (Ntarupt) will work within two charter school systems serving youth in need to provide proven effective sexual health curricula to adolescents and engage them as learners and leaders through a Youth Advisory Board. A public awareness campaign, Talk About It Dallas (TAID), will provide additional resources to youth and caregivers. The project will provide awareness of state and local policies through a Community Advisory Group, relationships with the school systems, and TAID. Ntarupt will work directly with school staff to clarify roles, ensure students are supported, and offer training and information to youth-serving adults. The project aims to serve 1,512 youth in year one and 2,060 youth in years two and three for an annual average of 1,877 youth.
